More and more foreign students choose Kaposvár University, their number tripled during the last five years.
"Almost a hundred students learn at our university. Young people from about 30 countries of the world arrive here to study. Thank you for your confidence" – said Prof. Dr. György Végvári in his welcome speech.
The vice rector responsible for strategic and educational development emphasized: the aim of the international afternoon is to bring the different cultures closer together.
The audience at the international afternoon could get acquainted with the customs and traditions of Laos, Syria, Angola, Spain, China and Russia among others.
The colleagues of the Directorate of Students’ Affairs created a real Christmas atmosphe. In the spirit of Advent they treated the participants to walnut and poppy seed rolls and some typical Hungarian fondant candy called szaloncukor.
